Prague suffers from heavy traffic and on week days the main streets are one big traffic jam. It is a really good idea to use the P+R (park and ride) parking places where you can park your car for a very small fee and use public transport (however these are usually full on week days as well).
The quickest way to experience Cesky Krumlov is to walk south along Latrán to náměstà Svornosti in the heart of Old Town, weaving in and out of alleyways along the way. To fuel up with some delicious Czech cuisine, stop in at Papa’s Living Restaurant (Latrán 13), one of the best local restaurants in the town.Europe - Prague Visit Too Long? - We are planning a trip to Prague next year for 5-7 days. Is there enough to do/see in the city for this period? Are there any day trips we can take by bus/train? I have been to Prague 4 times for a total of about 3 weeks and there are lots of places (museums) that I have visited only once so I do realise that there is plenty for 10 days if you are keen on museums, churches etc but I still think that some of it will be more low-key stuff than you would visit with 10 days in London, Rome, Paris or Berlin. 508zZj.
