Laura Les. Website. 100gecs .com. 100 gecs ( / ˈwʌn ˈhʌndrəd ˈɡɛks / [1]) is an American musical duo formed in 2015 that consists of Dylan Brady and Laura Les. They self-released their debut album, 1000 gecs, in 2019 to positive reviews, followed by a companion remix album, 1000 gecs and the Tree of Clues, in 2020.
Four singles were released from the album. In 2022, Ninja and Yolandi's adopted son, Gabriel "Tokkie" du Preez, accused them of ill-treatment, sexual assault, and slavery on him and his sister Meisie in a video posted on YouTube.

Since it first appeared in 2009, Die Antwoord has been criticised for cultural appropriation (using cultural elements of a minority group in an exploitative way). It’s accused of copying the lyrics and styles of Cape Town artists rapping in South Africa’s Kaaps language , and of mimicking the visual styles of Cape Flats gang members .
