Singapore Airlines operates the following models of Boeing, 777-200, 777-300, 777-300ER. As of 2022, the company has six 777-200s, two 777-300s, 26 777-300ERs in its fleet. The airline also ordered 31 more 777-9s. The airline chose the aircraft due to its power, reliability, and low noise level.
The original first-generation 777s were the 777-200, 777-200ER, and 777-300, with the -300 offering increased passenger capacity and a slightly higher range. The extended-range variants, such as the 777-300ER, became more popular among airlines due to their increased capabilities, with the 777-300ER being the most popular variant to date.
Because of these all improvements, the 777-9 and A350-1000 only give around 10-13% less fuel burn from 777-300ER compared to something like 20-25% less fuel burn of 787-10 and A350-900 vs 777-200. The A35K is around 22% lower fuel burn on a like for like basis compared to the 77W so fits in entirely with the 20-25% assessment of the A359/787
